Polska Przyszlość Foundation Director presents overseas guests at Radziejowice Palace

Mark Krawczynski introduced unique aspects of Polish culture to VIP guests at the Special Chelmoński Evening at the beautifully restored Radziejowice Palace Complex on Saturday 29-3-2014.

The Ambassador of Slovenia H.E. Marjan Setinc together with his wife Marta as well as a special guests including a young assistant from the Paris Opera, together with members from the Rotary Club of Warsaw City were introduced to various Polish artists who performed beautiful works of Polish composers of the 19/20th centuries. The pianists were Tamara Granat and Rafal Luszczeski and their wonderful renditions for 4 hands were interwoven with portions of Pan Tadeusz by our famous Adam Mickewicz. These were beautifully recited by famous actor Jarosław Gajewski.

This was all enacted in the beautiful new Arts Building in front of a magnificent recreation of a work by Artur Chelmonski titled “Protected by Virgin Mary” which was enlarged form the original by Andrzej Laska who also spoke about the genesis of this work. This new creation will now be placed in a special niche inside the local Parish Church.

Mark Krawczynski guided the guests on a special tour of the whole complex and later everyone met with the artists and management of this wonderful cultural centre at an informal discussion in the main Palace Building.

This very sophisticated cultural event was praised by all the guests as a shining example of how Polish art and culture are now seen as a dynamic and most diversified new energy in Europe which inspires people from all over the world because it is now so much more visible and presented in the best possible formats not only in the capital of Warsaw but also in the dozens of country centres.
